About Daniel’s Asana Style
Daniel will be teaching a blended class of power vinyasa yoga and yin yoga. This will be a thorough class that will push you physically and mentally, and yet still inclusive to any level. Daniel likes to mix tempos and include longer holding of postures at times to increase strength and stamina, as well as a more up tempo to increase cardiovascular effects. The strong practice is complemented with a Yin yoga finish. Yin yoga incorporates long held floor postures to help increase mobility throughout the muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia. Feel free to use props, such as blocks, straps and blankets too for this part of the class. We try to find discomfort, but in a manageable way. The focus will also be on helping to create a quiet mind through stillness in each of the poses.
