Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga:  Gentle, meditative class -incorporates lots of props, gentle stretches & guided relaxation. This class is intended for students who desire a slower pace and more gentle style.

The temperature for these classes range from 76-80 degrees.

Yin

Seated poses held for 2-3 minutes at a time.  Yin, aka:  Long, Slow & Deep, incorporates long holds and deep stretching floor postures to help increase mobility throughout muscle ligaments, tendons and fascia.

This is not a flow or Vinyasa style class, which may sound easy, for many it can be one of the greatest mental challenges ever experienced in yoga and will absolutely make students stronger in every sense.  This is a class for anybody of any fitness level.

Props are encouraged and breathing is emphasized!  The foundation of this class is about creating mobility and learning to quiet the mind, it is extremely beneficial to incorporate this style of yoga into a daily routine.

The temperature for these classes range from 75-80 degrees.

Gentle Beginner

A great class for new students who want a mild session.  This class is our most basic and gentle yoga class.  No prior yoga experience necessary.  The focus is on breathing and gentle stretches with easy transitions between postures.

The room is not heated and inclusive to any physical fitness level.

Beginner

A great class for students who want a challenge, although it is very approachable.  This class will introduce new yogis to the vinyasa flow. It is intended for students new to yoga who desire a slower pace and more gentle style.  It is not mandatory to take this class if you are new to the studio.

The temperature for these classes range from 75-80 degrees.

Level 1

A “Power Style” class with options to modify intensity. This is a blend of power yoga (longer holds) and vinyasa flow yoga (continuous movement).  It incorporates smooth transitions of postures while focusing on the breath. Classes can range in tempo and intensity, but always end with deep stretches that balance the body and mind.

The temperature for these classes range from 83-85 degrees.

Level 1–2

A “Power” style class that is for level 1 and level 2 students. Student will experience a noticeable increase in intensity, yet still approachable for newer students. This is a blend of Power yoga (long holds) and Vinyasa yoga (continuous movement).  These classes can get challenging but it is always recommended to modify poses to fit your body’s mood.

The temperature for these classes range from 87-89 degrees.

Level 2-3

A “Power” style class that is geared for the experienced yoga student, however, open for any level to attend.  It is recommend to take 5-10 Power Vinyasa classes (level 1 or 1-2) prior to attending this class.  Level 2-3 classes are challenging with more options for inversions, handstands, and balances.  As with every class it can be modified to the student’s own personal needs and circumstances.

The temperature for these classes range from 87-89 degrees.

Yoga Strength and Conditioning

These classes are for anybody looking for a challenging workout but still inclusive to students just starting out.  This is a blend of yin, vinyasa flow, strength and conditioning to improve muscular endurance and power, and overall fitness.

The temperature for these classes range from 75-80 degrees.

All Levels Power Vinyasa

These classes are for anybody looking for a challenging workout but still inclusive to students just starting out.  This is a blend of power yoga and vinyasa flow yoga.  It incorporates smooth transitions of postures while focusing on the breath.  This is a thorough class that will push you physically and mentally.  It can be more up tempo at times and include longer holding of postures to increase strength and stamina.  The strong practice is complemented with a nice long finishing series to help create the balance of strength and mobility as well as leave you feeling completely relaxed.

The temperature for this class ranges 85 – 91 degrees.

All Levels Community Class; Donations only
This is an all level class that is offered to anybody with or without a membership.  All you have to do is show up and we will have a donation box in the room that is open for you to donate any amount you like.  Recommended donation $10, but this is not a set price, it is completely up to you.  This class is an All Level Power Vinyasa Class, which incorporates smooth transitions and longer held postures for strength and stamina.  We hope you come out and support this community class and share it with your friends.
Intro to Inversions

An introductory class for students who have always wanted to learn inversions but were not sure how to do begin. This class breaks down everything from headstands to handstands, in a safe and controlled environment. These classes will also improve the strength, flexibility and techniques needed to master inversions through a blend of calisthenics and Yin poses.

Inversions

This class is designed for students who wish to possess a deeper understanding of handstands and other inversions. It is very hands on by nature in order to ensure proper alignment as well as safety, due to the advanced subject matter. Students will learn how to hold a handstand, as well as advanced variations as they progress. Being able to hold a handstand for at least 30 seconds on the wall is advised but by no means necessary before taking this class. If more help is required, a private session with Brennan will jumpstart your training and get you comfortable on your hands in no time!

Acro Yoga - Donation class

Acro Yoga incorporates the principles and poses of yoga and partner acrobatics into a challenging and fun practice that builds trust, alignment, and strength. This class is open to all levels of acro yogis, including beginners.

Come to practice your skills or learn something new. No need to bring a partner.

Recommended donation $10, but this is not a set price, it is completely up to you.  We hope you come out and support this community class and share it with your friends.

 

Kids Yoga

Ages: 4-11

We hold these classes congruently with an adult class, so that the whole family can practice at the same time.

We recommend you pre-register for this class, as there are limited spaces. You can pre-register, online, by phone or in person.

Kid’s yoga is a playful and invigorating experience for kiddos ages 4-11! We focus on both strengthening and connecting to our hearts, bodies and minds. Expect heart centered yoga flows, energizing cardio workouts, balancing breath work, and deeply relaxing savasanas.

Suggestions for Other Age Groups

12 & 13 Gentle Beginner Student must attend with adult. Adult must sign a new student form.
14 & 15 Gentle Beginner Attend first three classes with adult. Adult must sign a new student form.
16 & Up Any class Student can fill out their own new student form.
